Learn 110+ languages for free at Library Arrowhead Library System (ALS) and Orfordville Public Library in partnership with RBdigital from Recorded Books (Prince Frederick, MD), are pleased to announce the availability of Transparent Language Online for Libraries, the most complete language-learning system available anywhere. Boy Scout Chili Supper set for Feb. 2 Boy Scout Troop 108 is hosting their 3rd Annual Chili Supper Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brodhead United Methodist Church in Brodhead. This is the largest fundraiser Troop 108 holds all year. The proceeds from the event are being used to help offset the cost for the Boy Scouts to attend the High Adventure Trip to Isle Royale National Park in Michigan. The trip is scheduled for August 2020. Troop 108 currently has over 30 boys participating in the program. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral decisions over their lifetimes. Scout programs work to provide programs of character building, citizenship training, and personal fitness by instilling values and ideals that prepare young people to make lifelong ethical choices. The programs also administers after-school and weekend programs, as well as prepares youth to successfully handle the complexities of today’s society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-worth. The Chili Supper includes all you can eat chili, baked potato, hot dogs, corn bread, desserts and beverages. Come out and support the local Boy Scout troop in an amazing opportunity and eat some great food while doing it.
