‘Bad Seed’ opens first week in May at PM&L Theatre Maxwell Anderson’s “Bad See” will open at 8 p.m. on Friday and run for three weekends until Sunday, May 20, at PM&L Theatre, 877 Main St., Antioch. Regina Reynolds directs the performance. “Bad Seed” tells the story of sweet, loving and smart 8-year-old Rhoda Penmark (Claire Haran) who is doted on and admired by her parents and elders. But Rhoda

has another face that starts to be revealed when one of her classmates mysteriously drowns at a picnic she attends, and everyone closest to her starts to feel uneasy. Village of Antioch’s wine walk scheduled for beginning of June The Village of Antioch’s Summer Wine Walk will be from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at the William E. Brook Entertainment Center, 902 Skidmore Drive, Antioch. The wine walk is for people age 21 and older who are looking to try great wine, food and the opportunity to meet new people.

The cost of the event is $45 per person and includes a commemorative wine glass, event menu, food, bottle of wine and wine bag. This event requires preregistration. There is a maximum of participants. Attendees must bring their ID. For more information, call 847-395-2160.
