Hundreds attend Traveling Closet More than 400 attended the latest installment of the Antioch Traveling Closet last weekend at the Antioch Senior Center. The event was the eighth in a series of Traveling Closets organized by founder, Lisa Fisher, along with many volunteers and donors who helped make the event possible. As part of the event, ATC offers a wide selection of donated clothing, toiletries and cleaning supplies to those in need, all free of charge. Additionally, hairstylists pitched in, giving haircuts to 85 children. Although the event has been a success, ATC is enduring growing pains, noting limited storage and event space. Fisher has put out an appeal for contributions to the ATC and is hopeful that they can help the organization fund storage space for the upcoming year. To volunteer, or to make a tax-deductible donation to the Antioch Traveling Closet, visit the ATC website at http:// antiochtravelingcloset. org. The Antioch Traveling Closet is now a 501(c)(3) organization.
