At both sites docents will greet visitors, answer questions, and offer information about seasonal natural occurrences at the sites. They invite guests to share their experiences and tell of ways to be more involved in enjoying and supporting the parks.

Guttschow says that it is not unusual for car thieves to be armed, and residents who think they see something happening should call the police and not confront a potential thief. In addition to the stolen car, two other cars in the neighborhood had been rum maged through and had prop ertyAnyoneremoved.with any addition al information related to these crimes, including security camera video, or anyone who may have been the victim of an unreported crime, should call the Antioch Police dis patch center at 847-270-9111 or email crime@antioch. il.gov.

Antioch Township single vehicle traffic crash ends in fatality On August 17 at approxi mately 10:30 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash with injuries on Illinois Route 83 north of Eagles Nest Road in Antioch Township. Antioch police warn residents to be alert following daytime car theft Through an extensive out reach campaign, the Village of Antioch Police Depart ment has been reminding residents to follow a bedtime routine of making sure their cars and homes are locked. Now, Antioch Police Chief Geoff Guttschow is making a slightly updated plea, “be vigilant during the day or night.”The chief ’s latest warning comes after a daytime theft of an automobile in the vil lage’s Red Wing View neigh borhood. The victim had left their key fob inside of an un locked car in a driveway of the 1100 block of Goldfinch Lane.
