A bull fight on the farm gone wrong
When I was a kid on the dairy farm, we only raised a bull calf every few years for breeding, but one year we decided to raise twin bulls from one of our best dairy cows.We named them Big Daddy and Big Blackie. We genuinely had a great time raising those two calves. It is pretty amazing how much bigger and stronger yearling bull calves are compared to the other males bovines who becomeThesesteers.twoHolstein bull brothers grew strong and their muscles just rippled and bulged as the months went by.
Thus, they enjoyed a good year or two of working our 100 cow herd.
I remember giving them a few extra slaps on the shoulders and rubs on the head every day as they grew. They were pretty special animals.
We decided it was a good morning to pitch out the bull pens too, so we decided to turn both bulls out together. After all, they were friendly brothers, right? What could possibly go wrong?Atfirst the two brothers sort of sniffed and grunted and bumped each other around a little out in the cow yard.
