The Village of Mukwonago is seeking applicants for full-time positions in the Public Works Department. General work schedules are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The position is required to meet some seasonal increases to workload, which may extend hours beyond the normal forty (40) hour work week, including rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
3. A valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a good driving record.
4. Minimum one-year experience in the operation of trucks and equipment.
5. Forestry experience preferred.
Starting salary is $22.83 to $30.81 per hour based on qualifications, plus an excellent benefits package containing Wisconsin Retirement System contributions, deferred compensation, longevity pay, tuition reimbursement, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, vacation, personal days, and compensatory time.
