VILLAGE OF EAST TROY MUNICIPAL CLERK OF COURT
The Village of East Troy has an opening for a part-time clerk of court, 25 hours per week, to provide technical support as well as skilled administrative support. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, preparing court dockets, answering defendant questions, processing citations, coordinating court matters, processing payments, maintaining organized and accurate records as well as responding to record requests. A full job description can be located at www.easttroywi.gov. The individual must have strong customer service skills and the ability to perform work independently and manage multiple priorities. The individual must also be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Prior court clerk experience is preferred, but not required.
Educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years clerical experience or a comparable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Starting salary $20.78-$23.16, per hour depending on qualifications. Position benefits include, but are not limited to, Wisconsin Retirement System, earned vacation time and holiday pay. Position will be open until filled, with first review of applications March 22, 2023.

CRASH TEST TECHNICIAN

This role is for a full-time, salaried, entry-level position to prepare vehicles to successfully go through crash tests. This includes instrumenting vehicles with various test devices, photographing and measuring vehicles, setting up video cameras and data acquisition systems, and interacting with global customers. The Town of Troy, Walworth County, population
2,363 residents, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Public Works Supervisor in the Public Works Department. The desired qualifications include having a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (or the ability to obtain within one month of hire), a high school diploma or GED and five years of relevant and applicable experience. The successful individual must be willing to be on-call after scheduled work hours, including nights, holidays and/or weekends as required to provide public safety and service to the Township. Candidate will be required to work a minimum of eight hours a day Monday-Friday. Days and hours will vary during snow plow season.
Key responsibilities include supervising and directing the work of multiple Public Works Department employees, engaging in effective communication with all Town employees, elected officials, and members of the public, overseeing and effectively managing the Public Works Department annual budget, maintaining Town roads, culverts, parks, buildings and grounds, vehicles and equipment, plowing and salting roads, brush disposal, and operating vehicles, equipment, and heavy machinery. Additional duties may be assigned at the sole discretion of the Town Board Chair. Starting hourly wage will depend on qualifications and experience. If WRS requirements are met after the first year, candidate will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The position is eligible for other benefits, such as paid leave and health insurance.
This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test and random testing in compliance with the Town of Troy Substance Abuse Policy and the Federal Department of Transportation and Highway Administration’s drug and alcohol testing regulations contained in Title 49 CFR. This position is also subject to a pre-employment physical examination.

o 4+ years of machine maintenance in a production environment (preferably in the food processing industry)
o Experience in electrical systems, HVAC systems, pneumatics, milling and lathe operation, hydraulics, boiler operation, steam systems, and welding
o Weekend work may be required
2ND, 3RD, & WEEKEND ELECTRICIAN: EXPERIENCE BASED PAY + $1,000 TO $2,000 HIRING BONUS
o 4+ Years electrical experience in a production environment (preferably in the food processing industry)
o Knowledge of common electrical standards & ability to troubleshoot
o Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC’s, drives, controls, and protocols
o Experience in HVAC systems, pneumatics, milling and lathe operation, hydraulics, boiler operation, steam systems preferred
o Weekend work may be required
