Court blotter The following people were charged with these Class H and I felony offenses in Walworth County Circuit Court between Nov. 22 and 26:

Class H Class H, punishable by up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines: Identity theft • Larael L. Littleton, 28, of Whitewater; four counts of identity theft for financial gain.

Littleton was found during a traffic stop in Whitewater on June 12 with stock credit cards, a credit card scanning device and a credit card that belonged to another person, according to the complaint.

Whitewater police had arrested Littleton earlier and found him with multiple identification cards, credit cards issued to various people, several iPhones and a credit card scanner. Four of the cards were linked to people who did not know Littleton or give him permission to use their cards, and two of whom had fraudulent charges on their accounts, the complaint states.

Bail jumping • Brayan Anduaga Colin, 19, of Delavan; felony bail jumping.

Colin tested positive for marijuana in his system Nov. 17 while

serving a sentence in the Walworth County Huber Dorm. He was under bond conditions on charges of manufacturing or delivering LSD and marijuana and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Class I Class I, punishable by up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines: Child abuse • Christine Coleman, 40, of Whitewater; physical abuse of a child as a repeater; possession of cocaine, second and subsequent offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia as a repeater. Coleman allegedly pushed, slapped and choked her 12-yearold daughter Nov. 20 at their Whitewater home and was found with cocaine and paraphernalia when police arrested her at the home the next day.

Drugs • Phillip M. Diaz, 25, of Delavan; possession of narcotic drugs, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. During a traffic stop in the Village of East Troy on June 16 for reckless driving, Diaz falsely identified himself and was found with crushed-up hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia, according to the criminal complaint.

Made contact with male. Dispatch confirmed the warrant was valid; subject arrested and transported to jail.

Dec. 4 1:47 a.m. – officer stopped vehicle for requesting owner being suspended on North Wisconsin Street. Driver cited.

11:18 a.m. – trailer in parking lot on West Walworth Street. Trailer has been parked there for many days. Will do more follow up.

12:07 p.m. – officer observed vehicle with no plates on East First Avenue. Driver stated had just recently bought the vehicle. Issued warning for 10 days to get plates for citation.

3:14 p.m. – vehicle stopped in traffic in intersection on East Geneva Street. Officer assisted in getting vehicle into parking lot. Driver is arranging tow.

Court news

Fontana man charged with selling drugs near park An initial appearance was adjourned until Dec. 23 for a Fontana man charged with selling cocaine near Reid Park.

Andrew J. Dudek, 18, was charged Nov. 27 in Walworth County Circuit Court with manufacturing or delivering cocaine near a park.

According to the criminal complaint, police conducted a controlled buy of cocaine from Dudek on April 30 at the Abbey Resort in Fontana, which is across the street from Reid Park.

A confidential informant got into a red Toyota in which Dudek was a passenger at the Abbey and purchased .98 grams of cocaine from Dudek, according to the complaint. The informant and Dudek discussed the sale, which was arranged through Dudek’s Snapchat account, as well as other drugs Dudek was able to sell, the complaint states.

Man arranges sexual encounter with whom he believes is a girl, 14 A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Dec. 13 for a Waukesha man who drove to Lake Geneva to have sex with whom he believed were a mother and her 14-year-old daughter.

Stanley Sak, 58, was charged Nov. 27 in Walworth County Circuit Court with use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and attempted sexual assault of a child younger than 16 years old.

According to the criminal complaint, a Wisconsin Department of Justice special agent created a fictitious profile on the website fetlife, which is a site for people with sexual fetishes, and Sak began communicating with the agent who was using the profile name BadMommy79. “ B a d M o m m y 7 9 ” and Sak communicated through the website and later via email from March 20 to Nov. 4 during which time they had graphic discussions of sexual encounters they intended to have that involved “BadMommy79’s” 14-yearold daughter, the complaint

Driver found to have a suspended license. Driver cited.

He and “BadMommy79” planned to meet for a sexual encounter on Armsby Road in Lake Geneva on Nov. 21, and Sak was arrested when he arrived at the residence, according to the complaint.

A duffel bag that contained sex toys and erectile dysfunction medication were found in his vehicle, the complaint states.

Man charged with stealing money for project A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Dec. 11 for a Lake Geneva man charged with taking money to do a construction job but failing to do the work or return the payment.

Jeffrey M. Stasiak, 40, was charged Oct. 25 in Racine County Circuit Court with misdemeanor theft in a business setting and two counts of felony bail jumping.

According to the criminal complaint. Stasiak, who owns JS Construction, contracted with a woman in the Town of Norway on May 15 to replace three windows in her home and accepted payment of more than $2,200 for half the installation. The woman said the work was not completed, and Stasiak claimed he’d ordered the windows from Menards in Fox Lake, Ill., but the store had no purchase history from Stasiak.

The woman asked Stasiak to return the money, which he agreed to do, but, as of Oct. 18, had not sent a check for the money he owed, according to the complaint.

When police spoke to Stasiak, he said he used the money for windows and work related to the windows but later said he spent the money on gas, payroll and living expenses, according to the complaint.

Stasiak was under bond conditions on a Racine County charge of theft in a business setting and a county charge of child abuse.
