Aug. 8 12:26 a.m. - officer observed campers blown over on their side from storm on West Deere Road. Subject contacted from emergency call list and notified.

12:44 a.m. – officer removed debris from the roadway on West Centralia Street.

1:34 a.m. - officer located business with fire alarm going off on West Centralia Street.

Business had heavy roof damage from storm. Fire department and electric department both dispatched. Business owner also arrived on scene.

Aug. 10 12:01 a.m. – officers dispatched to loud noise on South Wisconsin Street. Made contact and advised to keep television to a reasonable level.

1:13 a.m. – subject walking appears highly intoxicated having phone conversation on East Walworth Street. Located matching the description. Was having an argument on the phone walked home.

3:02 a.m. – vehicle swerving all over on South Getzen Street.

Officer arrived in the area and located the vehicle. Stopped the vehicle and smelled intoxicants. Driver arrested for operating while intoxicated.

9:49 a.m. – officer observed a house that appeared to be unlivable on South Wisconsin Street with several broken down unregistered vehicles on the property as well as trash.

Asked owner of property to remove the garbage and vehicles from the property until the building can be taken down.

Aug. 9 12:48 a.m. – officer dispatched to a disabled vehicle on Highway 12 at Highway 11.

Vehicle had blown a tire earlier and now the spare gave out.

Had a friend coming for the car, which was tagged for 24 hours.

1:35 p.m. – alarm coming from front desk, called in by Alarm Company on North Wisconsin Street. All okay; employee accidentally pushed the panic button.

4:20 p.m. – assisted with traffic control due to high volume of traffic on Potter Road.

4:56 p.m. – two dogs running at large on North Wisconsin Street. Caller was able to catch the small dog. Took dog to animal shelter and a microchip was found. Owner was contacted.

6:54 p.m. – Kenosha County called requesting we check for vehicles on Wisconsin Street.

8:27 p.m. – detective observed a car door standing open and the interior lights on at South Washington Street.

Contact made at the residence and the owner stated may have left the door open. Nothing appeared out of place.

9:34 p.m. – traffic stop for no working brake lights on North Wisconsin Street. Driver cited for having temps and not driving with instructor, parent

or authorized person over 21.

10:41 p.m. – door found open on West O’Connor Drive.

Building was checked and all was okay.

2:09 a.m. – large branch removed from roadway on North Broad Street.

4 a.m. – wire snapped off pole on South Lincoln Street.

Electric department made aware.

5:58 a.m. – wallet and sunglasses taken from vehicle on East Walworth Street. Vehicle was unlocked and no forced entry.

9:49 a.m. – met with subject in lobby who found a SS card and insurance card on East Geneva Street. Items were stolen from vehicle the night before.

11:07 a.m. – subject reported vehicle parked over sidewalk blocking where people walk on East Pinecrest Lane.

2:28 p.m. – observed a disabled vehicle and trailer on South Lincoln Street. Trailer had a blown tire. Operator had just finished changing tire upon arrival.

5:21 p.m. – dog running at large has a leash attached on North Broad Street. Owner was not home but neighbor was able to catch the dog and secure it.

5:48 p.m. – vehicle stopped for expired registration on Cobb Road. Driver cited.

7:17 p.m. – spoke to complaint regarding annoying calls he is receiving, gave some advice but explained there is little that can be done on Amos Road.

11:11 p.m. – officer checked park and building on West O’Connor Drive. Door found open and was secured.

11:16 p.m. – group of kids fighting on North Church Street. Deputy was already on scene. No physical altercation occurred. All parties involved were verbally warned for being out past curfew, parents were contacted.
