Voter registration ends Feb. 20 for General Primary Election Early voting opens March 20

Joseph H. Sobecki, Executive Director of the DuPage County Election Commission, reminds all potential electors within the County of DuPage that Tuesday, February 20, 2018, is the last day to register to vote or to transfer a registration for the upcoming March 20, 2018, General Primary Election at any location other than the Election Commission office in Wheaton. Any potential voter who resides within DuPage County is encouraged to contact the Election Commission’s Registration Department at (630) 4075600, the TDD number at (630) 4075631, or visit dupageco.org/election. An individual may check the status of their voter registration on the website by using the “Voter Information Search” and obtain a listing of voter registration locations. If an individual is not registered or their registration is not up-to-date after the traditional registration has closed, Grace Period Registration and Voting will be available at the Election Commission office beginning Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Individuals registering during the “grace period” will be required to vote at that time. Online voter registration or transfer of a registration is also available on the Paperless Online Voter Application (POVA) site at ova.elections. il.gov until Sunday, March 4, 2018. It was an historic win by the York Duke Dance Team at the 2018 IHSA State Championship. The Dukes have been building momentum the last couple of years with State standings of 11th in 2016 and 6th in 2017.
