Bensenville Chamber of Commerce welcomes new teachers
O
n Tuesday, August 18, new staff members from Bensenville School District 2 and Fenton High School traveled to a community breakfast sponsored by the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce. The event, held at Bridgeway of Bensenville, has been a tradition for more than 40 years. Representatives from the Village of Bensenville, Bensenville Community Public Library, Bensenville Fire Protection District, Bensenville Police Department, the Bensenville Park District and Chamber members come together to share information about the community and demonstrate their combined commitment to the education of our youth. Each new employee received a welcome bag filled with promotional items, coupons and free passes from local businesses and non-profit organizations. The Bensenville Parks District provided a threemonth membership to their facility. Bensenville School District 2 will begin the new school year with 41 new staff members while Fenton welcomes five new teachers, a school psychologist and new principal. Proceeds from the event benefit the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program which annually recognizes a college photo provided bound Fenton student with a A community breakfast was held by the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce to welcome the new teachers from Bensenville scholarship.
