Deaths in Bensenville result of gunshot wounds
On Wednesday, June 29, the bodies of a man and woman, both deceased, were discovered in a home located on Indian Hill Drive in Bensenville. Upon inspection, the DuPage County Coroner’s Office reported the man and woman found in a Bensenville home had been shot. Shortly after, the victims were identified as 40-year-old Tanya Jenkins, who had multiple gunshot wounds, and Michael Jenkins, 54, who was shot once. Both died at the scene. Bensenville carnival raises $2,177 for youth coalition On Tuesday, June 28, the Village of Bensenville and Bensenville School District 2 presented a check for $2,177.29 to the Bensenville Youth Coalition.
