THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 2020

On Friday, June 6, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at The UPS Store, located in Suite C of 460 W Irving Park Road. Wearing masks and observing social distancing, Village President Frank DeSimone, Village Manager Evan K. Summers, Community Liaison Steve Skurski, and store owner Jaime “Jimmy” Ochoa came together as the ceremonial red ribbon was cut to welcome The UPS Store to Bensenville. This locally-owned and operated UPS Store offers services including in-store and online printing, document finishing, notary services, packing, shipping, and freight services. “We are proud to have businesses like The UPS Store continue to open their doors in Bensenville despite the pandemic,” said President DeSimone. “Mr. Ochoa’s story is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our economy.” Ochoa grew up in Bensenville, is a Fenton High School graduate, and U.S. Navy veteran, who currently he resides in neighboring Wood Dale. He shared his enthusiasm by saying, “Thank you Bensenville, we are excited to be here. Please come see us for all your residential SUBMITTED PHOTO Bensenville Independent or business needs.
