Future Bison enter National Engineering Contest

Future Bison at Wood Dale Jr. High School recently entered their future city “Greater Papyrus” in the online Future City National Competition. Established in 1992, Future City challenges students to showcase their engineering solutions to a citywide sustainability issue. This year’s theme, Waste-Free Future, tasked teams to design a waste-free city using the principles of a circular economy. Greater Papyrus and its team of Wood Dale engineers won the Illinois Regional and is now facing 40 teams from schools across the United States. The national champion was to be announced on Wednesday.
