This large group of pro athletes and others came out to Thornwood’s in Wood Dale on Wednesday, Dec. 12 to support the U.S Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive. According to the Bensenville Police Reports this week, there were two separate incidents of bomb threats reported by complainant on Dec. 13. One incident was reported at about 2:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. Green St. The second was reported from the 1000 block of W. Irving Park Road at about 3:55 p.m. In both cases, each of the complainants reported receiving a bomb threat via email if bitcoin ransom was not paid. Both cases remain under investigation. A similar incident was reported to Elmhurst Police last week as well. More police reports on page 3.
