Addison Trail pays tribute to victims of 9-11 On Sept. 11, District 88 schools, including Addison Trail, recognized the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Students and staff members remembered and honored those who lost their lives 17 years ago as a result of the terrorist attacks that took place on

that day and thanked those who continue to protect our freedoms. At Addison Trail, members of the Addison Police Department and the Addison Fire Protection District read a message to honor the anniversary and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

They also spoke with pupils in Laura Magnavite’s U.S. History class and Brendan Lyons’ Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level U.S. Government class, where they shared their thoughts and memories of Sept. 11, 2001. Those who attended from
