Recently, these volunteers from a local car dealership delivered hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes that the dealership had collected and donated them to an area food pantry.

As part of the Illinois Department of Economic Opportunity Phase 4 operating guidelines, the Addison Park District has announced that outdoor playgrounds are now open, including all playgrounds, nature play areas, and outdoor exercise equipment in Addison parks. Please remember to use parks and playgrounds safely • Restore Illinois Phase 4 gathering limit of no more than 50 people applies to each playground. • Please remember to practice social distancing. • Wear face covering if social distancing is not possible. • Addison Park District will not be cleaning or disinfecting outdoor exercise equipment, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, garbage cans, or frequently touched outside surfaces. • Frequent hand washing and regular use of hand sanitizer are strongly recommended. • DO NOT use the play areas, outdoor exercise equipment, or playgrounds if you or someone in your household is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. • Please self-regulate and follow the CDC, and IDPH guidelines. The Park District will continue to bring additional programs and sports activities for residents’ enjoyment and recreation during this extraordinary period.
