The parade route is approximately 1.7 miles from Addison Trail High School east on W. Army Trail Blvd. to Kennedy Drive. Line up time at Addison Trail High School will be between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., and the parade will step off promptly at 3 pm. There is no parking at Addison Trail High School. Participants may be dropped off or park in Indian Trail Jr. High and Green Meadow Shopping center parking lots and take the free shuttle. The parade will have a reviewing stand with announcers and be videotaped for later broadcast on Addison Community Television. Parade organizers invite not-forprofit organizations, taxing bodies, community and youth groups and businesses based in Addison or who conduct their business or service in Addison to participate. Units may include vehicles, floats and walking groups. Completed parade applications and signed waivers are due by Friday, Aug. 13.
