On Sunday, July 17, DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B. Berlin and Roselle Chief of Police Steve Herron announced that bond had been denied for a Roselle man charged with shooting an innocent woman in the head early Saturday morning at a Roselle restaurant. Jamie Quijano, 22, of the 200 block of Walter Drive in Roselle appeared in bond court where Judge Susan Alvarado denied bond. On Saturday, July 16 at approximately 12:29 a.m., Roselle police officers responded to a call of shots fired at Bulldog Ale House located at 394 Irving Park Road. “Residents provide us with valuable feedback that plays a crucial role in shaping our budget,” said Finance Committee Chairwoman Liz Chaplin. “This survey allows us to make informed decisions and continue to ensure we’re spending tax dollars wisely.”

Nothing is Sweeter Than a New Home

The survey coincides with the regular budget process as DuPage officials determine spending levels for Fiscal Year 2023, which begins on Dec. 1, 2022. County Board Chairman Dan Cronin will present his FY2023 budget plan to the County Board on Sept. 27.
