There will be a presentation of the highlights and successes about the Collaborative. The Honorable DuPage County Judge Robert Anderson is on the schedule to talk about why a high quality integrated system of community support is essential to building a brighter future for the young children and families in Addison. More information about collaboratives and how they affects the local community will be provided by Joanna Su, Community Systems Policy Director for the Illinois Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development. Besides the AECC, the breakfast is also sponsored by Metropolitan Family Services, Bright & Early DuPage and Addison School District 4.

Early Childhood Collaborative to host third annual community breakfast On Friday, June 17 from 8 to 10:30 a.m., the community is invited for a hot catered breakfast with the Addison Early Childhood Collaborative (AECC) at the Addison Public Library, 4 Friendship Plaza. Guests will learn about the work being done by the Collaborative to ensure academic success in kindergarten and beyond. The breakfast is free, but RSVPs are needed, as space is limited.
