What makes this team and story extremely special is the fact that many of the boys on this lengthy 31-player roster are first year players and many were a year younger and played up to compete at the 10U level. This Cowboys team outscored their opponents 266-68 over the course of the 2021 season led by Team Captain and QB Nicolas Mertz with 17 touchdowns, 13 rushing and four passing.
