Committee on Veterans Affairs. The Addison Trail High School Choir and Indian Trail Junior High School Band will perform. Randy Boryscka, Commander of Addison VFW Post 7446, will offer remarks. Members of the VFW will raise the six flags of branches of the armed services along with American flag. After the Village acquired the site through a land exchange with Panattoni Development Corporation, and the nearby house owned by St. Paul Lutheran Church, Village officials began plans to dedicate the 1.95-acre parcel as Veterans Circle, relocated from the northeast corner of the intersection.

The new site allows for easier visitor access, and includes new open space areas, brick paver walkways, lighting, flagpoles, landscaping and irrigation. A historical marker, noting the site of the first English language public school in Addison in 1858, will be installed. As part of a plan designed by Hitchcock Design Group of Naperville, the new corner is an extension of the Village Green immediately to the west. R.W. Dunteman Co. of Addison is the general contractor on this fifth phase of the project. Veterans Circle will be the site of future Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances.
