Addison residents got their first look at the newly remodeled Walmart Supercenter at 1050 N. Rohlwing Road on Friday, Sept. 29, as the much-anticipated project is completed. A grand reopening ribbon-cutting took place early that morning. Customers will enjoy the following store improvements: • Apparel, accessories and jewelry departments relocated to center of store; • State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays so customers can try laptops, tablets and other technology prior to purchase; • Expanded Hispanic grocery assortment to meet growing customer demand; • Alcohol department moved to more prominent location within grocery; • Brighter lighting to showcase fresh produce department; • Refreshed bakery with new fixtures and displays; • Increased assortment of furniture in infants department; • Larger signage for ease of navigation. “We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier,” said Store Manager Mike Reeves. “We’re excited for everyone to come see how we are helping give time back to our customers with a new and improved shopping experience.”
