Anitoch’s July 4 celebration starts with the State Bank of the Lakes Run for Freedom and ends with a traditional fireworks show downtown. In between there will be a variety of events, including sports tournaments, children’s games, food and beverage vendors, a parade and live music. Once the parade is over, the activity moves to Williams Park on Main Street There will be a children’s fun fair, fire department water fights and a variety of bands performing. Sports tournaments include co-ed softball, bag-toss, horseshoes and co-ed sand volleyball. The park will also play host to the first hot wings eating competition. Here is the full schedule of events: 8 a.m. – State Bank of the Lakes Run for Freedom. Race day registration and packet pick up begins at 6:30 a.m. at
