BRITISH CATTLE BREEDERS CLUB COMPETITION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE 2014’s multi-media competition is again open to ALL young people aged under 26. To enter they will need to produce a multi-media presentation of up to 10 minutes duration on the following topic: “Breeding to deliver high quality food to a hungry world”, themed from either a beef or dairy perspective. The closing date is Friday 20th December. The winners in each section stand to win a share of £700 total prize money and give their presentations to the BCBC Conference on 21st/22nd January 2014. The prize includes attendance at the conference and overnight accommodation. This is a great opportunity for breed promotion, and for the young person to promote themselves to an audience that includes many potential employers. Up to six young people in each section will be shortlisted to make their presentations to the judging panel at the conference, so this is also an opportunity for these young people to attend the conference for free and to gain a whole year’s membership of the Club. If you would like further information please contact Caroline.
