Arena plans up for debate NEWLY revealed proposals for the £91m Bristol arena are open for consultation until October 13. After criticism that the consultation events are mostly in the city centre, Tresa, the Totterdown residents group, has helped organise a local meeting

to discuss the plans. It’s at Totterdown Methodist Church, Bushy Park, on Monday October 2, from 7pm-8.30pm. Mayor George Ferguson hit back at claims the arena will bring parking problems to the area. • ARENA SPECIAL: Pages 8-13
