I honestly don't know where to start regarding the impact Champs has had on the club Early in the 2019/20 season, the clubs relaunch at First Team level and first i Hellenic 2, I quickly found myself without an assistant manager due to off field politics. The first time Champs assisted me in the dugout was a guest appearance at Long Crendon in the cup It was so enjoyable and we had such a blast.

Once I needed to recruit an assistant manager, Champs was always my first choice. He made his full managerial debut away to Folly Lane in the Telegraph Cup in November 2019 We lost the cup tie but from that game as a duo, we didn't lose another game together for 2 and a half years with a global pandemic thrown in. Together we have smashed every club record in existence; 26 game unbeaten run, 22 wins in all comps on the bounce, most goals scored in a season, most clean sheets, the list is endless My only disappointment is that we didn't get to celebrate the league title we deserved due to the pandemic It would have been the clubs first league title in over 40 years

We have been the Clough and Taylor of Southam United. I simply could not have achieved the success we have had as a club without Champs As an assistant manager over the years, he has been so selfless and put his heart and soul into the club. To work alongside someone with such integrity, commitment and hard work has been one of the highlights of my entire career Over the years, he has barely missed a training session or game.

We have had so many highlights but we have done so much together that goes above and beyond. Mowing the BHP pitch with a petrol mower just so we could train for the very first time at BHP Putting the goals up that you see today on the BHP Endless electrical jobs.

I can't mention Champs without mentioning Sarah Sarah has probably done close to 50 games herself over the years, supporting Champs and Ellis/Ethan. Sarah has been such a support to Champs and the boys and is the definition of a football widow When relaunching in 2019, Sarah, along with others, has done every job imaginable in supporting myself and the club. The club would simply not be where it is today without Ryan and Sarah Much love and respect to you both, fantastic couple

Ryan, congratulations on your 50th game. One of the best things about the journey we have all been on at the club is that I have made a friend for life

Complete admiration, Rich

"It's not often you can say you've played semi-professional football with your dad as one of your coaches. He's done an awful lot with Rich to get the club back to where it is now, and he's also played a massive part in getting myself and Ellis to where we are now. Ellis and I would like to say thank you for all you have done for us and congratulations on your 50th game, hopefully we will have many more together." Ethan
