LETTER FROM THE CAPTAIN
Welcome back to Bobby Hancocks Park for what is our final OSL fixture of the season.
After last week’s win, and Kennington only managing a draw, it now means its in our own hands that we can finish the season as runners-up. For that to happen we need a point from today’s game against a very good Halse side.
If we manage to do that today it would really cap off what has been a brilliant season. Let’s finish the season with a bang!
Our aim from the beginning was promotion, so I’m delighted that’s been achieved. Without a doubt its what the club deserves since the relaunch in 2019.

On a personal note, this will be my final game for the club. I wanted to say a massive thank you to Rich for giving me the opportunity here at Southam since the relaunch in 2019. Made even more special this year being named a club captain, a massive honour.
As for the lads, they have been a credit to this club, not only talented but great lads on and off the field too. The togetherness and team spirit within the group is the best I’ve been involved in.
I must also mention the supporters who come to watch every week. Your support has been tremendous throughout the season.
With the recent recruitment in the management staff for next season you can already see the club is moving in the right direction. All the best next season to everyone involved with the club. I will be sure to make it down to watch and show my support when I can.
Much love,
Ash
