ASH KNIGHTS LETTER FROM THE CAPTAIN
First of all, I would like to wish the supporters and all involved with the club a Happy New Year. It’s been a long 4 weeks since we last had a game so it’s nice to finally get back to business in what we hope will be an even better year for all involved at Southam United. The Christmas break is always nice to spend with friends and family and to drink and eat ridiculous amounts. However, having 4 weeks off with no training and your fitness can somewhat suffer, and for some also the waist band. It was good to blow the cobwebs off at training this week and finally kick a ball. Our target this year is to try and stay more
focused and switched on for the whole 90 minutes and to cut individual mistakes out. The majority of games we have lost could have gone the other way if we had done that better. Myself and the lads are raring to go and hope we can get a positive result today to kick the new year off in style. Enjoy the game
