CHALFONT WASPS
Founded in 1922 Chalfont Wasps Football Club, ‘The Stingers’, have now been Chalfont St. Giles’ senior Saturday football club for 100 years.

The Wasps have been based at a number of venues around the village during their long history, but over the last 70 years they have ‘made their nest’ at the Playing Fields, Bowstridge Lane in the heart of Chalfont St Giles.
The Wasps spent numerous seasons participating in the Wycombe Combination, winning many trophies, before becoming a founder member of the Chiltonian League, which has since become part of the Hellenic Football League.
The club has enjoyed much success over the years, including winning the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup an unrivalled three consecutive times and has also won the Wycombe Senior & Junior Cups on a number of occasions.
This season our 1st Team is once again a part of the Uhlsport Hellenic League. Our expanding junior & youth sections participate in the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League and the Chiltern Church Junior Football League.
The Club’s original ethos of offering competitive football for all age groups in a hospitable club environment remains as strong today as it did in the past.
