I would also like to extend a very warm welcome to our friends from Galonas house. Remembrance weekend is always a special weekend. From everyone at the club we hope you enjoy the day.
Remembrance weekend stands alone as the most important reminder what it means to be British. It’s a time to reflect on the those that sacrificed so much for our freedom and liberties in service to their country or sadly with their lives. I always ask myself the question how they found the courage and strength. My answer is that like all of us they did it to protect the ones they loved. Their families, their children, their children’s children. To protect generations. Being a father myself there is no bigger love than that for your family and children.
The football we enjoy today is because of the sacrifices of yesterday.Everyone associated with Southam United owes you everything.Lest we forget.
Rich Kay
