THE PROCESS
Sell branded swag directly on your website, and have it managed by SOURCEY.M, the merch experts!
1.SELECT YOUR PRODUCTS
Determine what types of merchandise you want to offer and how it will fit within your brand identity. This can include items like t-shirts, hats, or other branded merchandise. Our expert team will help you curate the perfect range for your brand.
2. ORDER YOUR PRODUCTS
Once you have selected the right products we will order and brand them for you. Once the stock is ready it is time for photography.
3. PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is so important to give your online store the professional look and feel that your brand requires. We will organise photography of all your selected products ready for your new store.
4. CHOOSE AN E-COMMERCE PLATFORM
Select an e-commerce platform, such as Shopify or WooCommerce. Decide if you would like your Merch store to be a stand alone website or form part of your existing website.
5. DESIGN & BUILD
Based on your choice of platform we will design & build your online platform, add product pages and images, as well as any relevant information, such as shipping and returns policies.
6. SETUP PAYMENT PROCESSING
You may choose to allocate budgets to individual departments within your business and have us manage these or accept external payments via a secure online payment system. We will work with you to find the best fit for your business.
7. SETUP INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
We will ensure your inventory is properly managed, with stock levels accurately reflected, we can setup reorder levels and work with your team to reorder products and refresh the range as required.
8. MARKET YOUR STORE
Use social media and other marketing channels to drive traffic to your online store. Consider offering promotions or discounts to attract customers or promote the range internally to your end users.
9. FULFILL ORDERS
We will stock your merchandise range in our warehouse and once orders are placed we will promptly fulfill and ship your orders. Providing tracking information on all orders.
10. MONITOR & OPTIMISE
We will continuosly monitor your merch store for areas of improvement and functionality, improving the end users experience and driving more sales.
THE COSTS
There are several costs involved in setting up and operating an online merchandise store. Some of the main costs are:

BRANDED PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS
You will need to purchase the inventory that you plan to sell in your online shop from Sourcey.M. This stock will be paid for at the time of manufacture and then held in our warehouse ready for orders to be placed. There may be a fee charged for warehousing the stock based on space required and volume purchased.
2. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY
We will photograph each of your items ready to upload to your online merch store. These photos will be available for you to use for your marketing and social media if required.
We can quote this for you once a look and feel is decided on.
3. WEBSITE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT & HOSTING
Whether you make your store part of your existing website or create a brand new home for your store there will be time involved to design & develop your website. If you choose to make your store part of your existing website then there will be no additional fees for hosting. If you choose to create a stand alone store then we will need to host your site for you. You may also require a new domain for your store.
Once we have your brief we will do a personalised quote for you with a solution that meets your requirements.
4.
PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES
If you plan to accept credit card payments, you’ll need to pay processing fees to a payment gateway or merchant account provider. If you plan to allocate budgets to cost centres within your business then there won’t be any processing fees.
5. SHIPPING & HANDLING
We need to package and ship your merchandise to your customers, and there will be shipping and handling fees applied for each order.
6. CUSTOMER SERVICE
We provide full customer support and handle any returns or complaints on your behalf. This service incurrs an account management fee. This fee will be negotiated as part of the project quote.
7. SOFTWARE & APPS
You may need to purchase or subscribe to software and apps to manage your store, such as inventory management, customer relationship management, or marketing automation tools. These tools can be quoted on an as needs basis.
The specific costs of each of these factors will depend on the size and scope of your store, as well as the specific products you plan to sell. It’s important to carefully plan and budget for these costs before launching your online merchandise store. To help you with this process we have given an outline of some of the cost you might expect. Once we have a full scope of works we can provide a more accurate quote for you.

McCormick approached Sourcey.M to create an online Merch Store for their hottest brand - the Iconic Franks Red Hot Sauce. Frank’s marketing is clever, cool and FUN.
Our mission, which we excitedly accepted, was to come up with a range of Hot Summer Merch that Frank’s loyal fans would love!
And it has taken off in a BIG way!
Through the launch of their new online Merch Store, they are kicking hot sauce and market domination goals!
HOW WE CREATED FRANK’S EPIC ONLINE MERCH STORE...
We worked alongside the client to learn how they defined their brand. We explored everything that makes their brand unique and considered their short- and long-term marketing goals and came up with a range that would be memorable, relatable, practical and covetable!
We got to work back at HQ and sourced the merch by harnessing the incredible supplier networks we’ve built locally and globally over the past 15 years.
We photographed their products in our HQ custom studio to make them really pop!
We built the online shop in the backend and worked with the Frank’s team to integrate it into their webpage and get it up and running.
We watched the orders pour in. Every sale comes through to us, and we manage the rest for the client. Too easy!
We designed and made custom-branded packaging, especially for Frank’s customers. This includes on-brand custom-made boxes and eco mailers to send the goodies to their forever homes. We keep them on-site ready to go!
We warehouse-pack and fulfil every order. This is probably our client’s fave part. We take care of everything, meaning they get the benefits of having the gen pop repping their brand without having to source, order, store, pick, pack or send!
The fantastic team at McCormicks have created some impressive social media campaigns to promote the store. Plus, limited edition merch drops for National Days such as National Wingman Day with a limited range of LET ME BE YOUR WINGAN Tees!
