The Skillsmart Retail Rising Stars Awards 2011 celebrated the best of the best talent in all areas of retail. Organised by Retail Week and sponsored by Skillsmart Retail, the awards recognised the individuals who have demonstrated outstanding talent, aptitude and initiative in their roles – singling them out as the ones to watch for the future. The cream of retail talent from across the UK came together for the annual awards ceremony, with star guest Theo Paphitis, on 8 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. Almost 80 people and teams from a range of businesses and skills shops battled it out in 17 categories, hoping to get their hands on the much sought after trophies.
