Applications are now open for a variety of Scholarships in 2026 subject to meeting the following criteria. All Souls St Gabriels School engaged ACER Scholarship Testing.

General Eligibility

• Scholarships and Bursaries offer a range of partial tuition fee remission for the duration of the scholarship and are available to current students at ASSG, as well as prospective students.

• Scholarships are awarded on the understanding that the recipient will complete their schooling at All Souls St Gabriels School.

• Students must be entering Years 7 11 in 2026.

• All new students must have also completed an ASSG enrolment form.

• Academic Scholarships are awarded based on the ACER Scholarship Examination results and previous school results.

• Music and General Scholarships and Bursaries are not subject to academic testing but are awarded based on a music audition and assessment of previous school reports.

• Scholarships are subject to annual review based on academic endeavour, high standard of conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one scholarship or discount at any given time. Where an existing discount applies (staff, past student, sibling), the scholarship recipient elect may opt to take the higher discount.

• Scholarship arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

Academic and Music Scholarship applications close: Wednesday 07 May 2025

Academic testing and music auditions take place at All Souls St Gabriels School: Saturday 17 May 2025

General Scholarship and Bursary applications are accepted throughout the year and are subject to availability.

2026 general scholarships.

Douglas Scottscholarship.

Douglas attended All Souls School from 1945 – 1949, after receiving a scholarship from the Bush Brotherhood of St Barnabas. The Scholarship has been created by the family in memory of their father to commemorate his time at the School. The Douglas Scott Scholarship is funded by a bequest in his will.

Criteria:

• The applicant must be a new family to All Souls St Gabriels School.

• The scholarship is open to a boarding student in Senior School (Years 7 to 12)

• The family must demonstrate a financial need.

• The recipient is perceived to have high Academic or Leadership potential.

• The recipient displays admirable characteristics.

• The recipient is to commence at All Souls St Gabriels School at an agreed date in 2024.

• Scholarships are subject to annual review based on a high standard of conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one scholarship or discount at any given time.

• Scholarship arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

Application Process:

The applicant is required to submit:

• A fully completed Application Form, signed by both the parents and the applicant.

• A copy of the applicant’s last two academic reports detailing academic grade, effort, behaviour, including attendance of over 90% in the last school year (unless medical or other evidence is provided).

• Evidence of high level of application to academic pursuits.

• Evidence of Leadership roles and responsibilities in their previous educational setting.

• Evidence of involvement in the local community. This may include cultural, sporting, or other group involvement.

• Any other supporting documentation.

• The Family is to confirm a statement of financial need. Proof of financial need may be requested.

Scholarship Determination:

• The Senior Leadership Team will assess the applications and make a recommendation to the Headmaster.

• Shortlisted applicants will undergo the normal enrolment interview procedures of the School.

Sally Goodmanscholarship.

Sally Goodman was a boarding student at All Souls St Gabriels School from 1976 1980. She was a great role model who always participated willingly and energetically in House and School activities. Following her passing early in post school life the Class of 1980 decided to fund a scholarship in her honour.

Criteria:

• The scholarship is open to a day or boarding student, ideally commencing in Year 7, and is offered for the balance of their secondary schooling.

• The Scholarship provides funding of $4,500.00 per year.

• The family must demonstrate a financial need.

• The recipient must demonstrate admirable characteristics.

• Scholarships are subject to annual review based on a high standard of conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one scholarship or discount at any given time.

• Scholarship arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

Application Process:

The applicant is required to submit:

• A fully completed Application Form, signed by both the parents and the applicant.

Leslie Gregoryscholarship.

The Reverend Raymond William Gregory was the Headmaster at All Souls St Gabriels School from 1972 – 1977, and the Scholarship has been created by the family in memory of his wife, Mrs Leslie Gregory, to commemorate their service to the School.

Criteria:

• The scholarship is open to a female student in Years 7 to 10 and is available until the recipient completes their Year 10 studies.

• The family must demonstrate a financial need.

• The recipient may be a day student or boarding student.

• The recipient displays admirable characteristics.

• Scholarships are subject to annual review based on a high standard of conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one scholarship or discount at any given time.

• Scholarship arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

Application Process:

The applicant is required to submit:

• A fully completed Application Form, signed by both the parents and the applicant.

• A copy of the applicant’s last two academic reports detailing academic grade, effort, behaviour, including attendance of over 90% in the last school year (unless medical or other evidence is provided).

• Evidence of leadership roles and responsibilities in their previous educational setting.

• Evidence of involvement in the local community. This may include cultural, sporting, or other group involvement.

Future Scholars bursary.

The Bursary will provide funding of $5,000.00 per year for 2 years (Year 11 and 12).

Criteria:

• The bursary Is available to a new student commencing Year 11 in 2025 and is available for the 2 years of Year 11 and 12 study.

• The applicant will study approved ATAR subjects to enable further tertiary study.

• The recipient may be a day student or boarding student.

• The recipient displays admirable characteristics.

• The Bursary is subject to annual review based on a high standard of academic achievement, conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one bursary/ scholarship or discount at any given time.

• Bursary arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

• The family must demonstrate a financial need.

Application Process:

The applicant is required to submit:

• A fully completed Application Form, signed by both the parents and the applicant.

• A copy of the applicant’s last two academic reports detailing academic grade, effort, behaviour, including attendance of over 90% in the last school year (unless medical or other evidence is provided).

• Any other supporting documentation.

Bursary Determination:

• The Senior Leadership Team will assess the applications and make a recommendation to the Headmaster.

• Shortlisted applicants will undergo the normal enrolment application and interview procedures of the School.

Rowena Hart scholarship.

Rowena Hart (Sister Rowena SSA) was the last of Sisters of the Society of Sacred Advent to be the Sister‑in Charge of St Gabriel’s School in 1962. The Scholarship has been created to commemorate her service to the School.

Criteria:

• The scholarship is open to a day or boarding student.

• The family must demonstrate a financial need.

• The recipient displays admirable characteristics.

• Scholarships are subject to annual review based on a high standard of conduct and school participation, as well as adherence to School policies and procedures.

• Students may only be the recipient of one scholarship or discount at any given time.

• Scholarship arrangements are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

Application Process:

The applicant is required to submit:

• A fully completed Application Form, signed by both the parents and the applicant.

• A copy of the applicant’s last two academic reports detailing academic grade, effort, behaviour, including attendance of over 90% in the last school year (unless medical or other evidence is provided).
