AMP UP THE ARTS
The New Albany Community Foundation hosted its third annual Amp Up the Arts Benefit for the Charleen & Charles Hinson Amphitheater in New Albany on September 13, 2023. 400 guests enjoyed performances by Grammy Award-winning and -nominated singer-songwriters Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat at this year’s benefit. Previous performers at Amp Up the Arts included Tony Award Winner for his role in Hamilton as Aaron Burr, Leslie Odom Jr. in 2021 and Tony Award Winner Renee Elise Goldsberry originator of the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton in 2022.Proceeds from Amp Up the Arts, which was sponsored by Presenting Sponsor Axium and Performance Sponsors Gilbane Building Company and New Albany Company, help underwrite the Performance Series, Free Family Flicks and other amphitheater programming presented by The New Albany Community Foundation.
