Who We Are: Guided by the belief that every person has ability and value, LADD empowers adults with developmental disabilities to live, work, and connect. LADD was founded in 1975 by parents of children with disabilities. Today, LADD supports more than 500 people through a range of services including housing, health and wellness, day programs, supported employment and advocacy. We believe there is strength in a culture and community that welcomes diversity.

What We Do : Our work propels the inclusion and success of people with disabilities, the impact of which is felt positively throughout our community. In addition to the range of services mentioned above, LADD is pioneering a new model of community living with our Smart Living Pilot, the first in the nation to combine smart home technology and wearables to increase independence, improve affordability and support more people.

LADD is also the organizer of the Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival, bringing stories from across the globe to the tri-state area in celebration of inclusion and shared humanity.

We partner with the people we support as well as volunteers, business leaders and local and state governments to provide opportunities for all people to live fully and independently.
