WOMEN FOR RILEY

Women for Riley’s end-of-year celebration took place on May 19 at Woodland Country Club. The event highlighted the group’s efforts during the past year. Dr. Paul Haut, COO of Riley Children’s Hospital; Liz Elkas, president and CEO of Riley Children’s Foundation; and Amy Kraner, president of Women for Riley, were keynote speakers. In previous years, the organization has presented a traditional prom event for patients in the Riley Cancer Center. Due to the pandemic, this was reconfigured as a virtual event this year, with a custom-produced prom telecast that aired in patients’ hospital rooms. In addition to creating the annual prom event, Women for Riley funds grants to the hospital, with more than $155,000 granted this year alone. To date, the organization has donated over $1.4 million to Riley Hospital for Children. For more information, visit rileykids.org/waystogive/womenforriley.
