PUMA X SEGA COLLABORATION SEASON 2 WOMENSWEAR SS19

This project is a follow on of the PUMA X SEGA SONIC collaboration releasing June 2018. This collection will be for the young Womenswear market for S/S 19. The main purpose of the products will be for fitness and leisurewear. The main inspiration behind this collection will be taken from the strong and powerful female heroines from Sonic the Hedgehog. This collection is vibrant, fun and will appeal to young women who want to make a statement with their footwear.

BLAZE CHUNKY TRAINER PRODUCT STORY These shoes bring the heat, whether you wear them on the street or at the gym, these shoes will light up your world. Inspired by the character Blaze from Sonic the Hedgehog. These trainers feature a flame inspired chunky sole and breathable mesh panels.

FLORAL DREAM RUNNER PRODUCT STORY Inspired by the character Cream from Sonic. Featuring a bold, floral print inspired by the graphics within Sonic the game. This trainer has a comfy style with a feminime edge.

KNITTED HIGH TOP TRAINER PRODUCT STORY Performance and style collide with these stretch knit trainers. Inspired by Amy Rose’s high leg boots from Sonic. This Sock inspired design features bold colours and cut out details.

LEVEL UP SLIP ON TRAINER

PRODUCT STORY Digitally printed, slip on running trainer. This design features a bright camouflage print and metallic details.

This vibrant trainer will draw all eyes to your feet.

This design takes inspiration from messages in video games. One rubber sole is embossed with a fun ‘Style game level up’ slogan, the other sole is embossed with ‘Game over, Restart’. This design aims to encourage the ethos within both fitness and video games. Which is to be determined and reach new levels.

URBAN GRL IS AN ATHLETIC STREETWEAR BRAND FOR THE MISSFITS, ADRENALINE JUNKIES AND FASHION REBELLIOUS. TEENAGERS PRACTICING PARKOUR IN SYRIA WAS THE INITIAL INSPIRATION BEHIND THE COLLECTION. IT WAS THIS RELEASE OF COPING THROUGH SPORTS PERFORMANCE THAT INSPIRED THE THEME OF ESCAPISM AND UNITY.

SAKURA is a feminine, comfortable and stylish collection influenced by Japanese culture. The name of the collection SAKURA means Cherry Blossom in Japanese, the collection is all about being comfortable in your skin and feeling beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.

CHERRY BLOSSOMS SIGNIFY THE RENEWAL OF LIFE. I WANTED TO REPRESENT THIS GRAPHICALLY WITH A SWIRL OF FLOWERS.

PLAID PRINTS ARE VERY IN NEXT FALL AND I WANTED TO CREATE MY OWN PRINT USING A MIX OF BRIGHT AND SUBTLE COLOURS.

I WAS INSPIRED BY CHECKERBOARDS AND LOVE HEARTS IN THIS PRINT. I WANTED THIS PRINT TO BE FUN AND LIVELY.

SMALL AMOUNTS OF FAUX ANIMAL FUR WILL BE USED IN THE COLLECTION.

IN COLLABORATION WITH NIKE

Survivor is a sportswear collection for Nike inspired by Balinese culture. The name of the collection was inspired by my own experiences of surviving the recent Indonesian earthquake in Lombok. Inspiration was taken from Balinese temples and offerings, woven baskets, rice paddies and Balinese traditions. The collection aims to give 50% of the profits made to help the families affected in the earthquake.

FABRICATION AND PRINT Banana fritters is a traditional delicacy in Indonesia , i wanted to incorporate bananas in these prints.
