DAY 1 Start the day right with a delicious Korean breakfast at the popular Tosokchon Samgyetang, a local restaurant situated close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, most known for its delicious samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) and kimchi. Later, head north of Gwanghwamun Square to see the splendour of Gyeongbokgung Palace – one of the most distinguishable sights in all of South Korea. Visit the Namsan Seoul Tower in the late afternoon to observe the city lights at a birds’ eye view, and end your day by going to the Myeongdong market to try some Korean street food delicacies.
