Project - Tutti Frutti Live Sustainability Project

with brand Pippin Denim - Childrenswear - Theme Pineapples

The pieces here represent my colour pallet, inspiration images and pieces that explore the project brief and my chosen theme pineapples. Through my theme of pineapples I want to use the textures to create creative garment designs that represent my areas of interest such as screen printing and patchwork.

Project - Tutti Frutti - Report on the brand I am working with P Denim

Here I have placed my front cover of my report and a selection of images which link to my report. In this report I created an analysis of the brand, comparison using other brands that are seen as competitors. I also created a brief positive and negative description of the brand and to conclude I stated my overall opinions on how they can improve.

Experimental Pattern making using photoshop and my fruit drawings

The pieces I have placed here explore the use of photoshop by creating repeat patterns using my drawings and then adding my patterns onto features of garments from the brand I have worked with. Here I experimented with different colours to create accurate shades for each fruit.

Mid Length Sleeve Jacket - Sleeves down to the elbow, collar, zip up the middle, pockets with flap and press stud fastening in a dark blue denim, rest of garment in a light blue denim, jacket comes to the waist.

Short Sleeve Jacket - Quarter sleeve length, collar and sleeves in a medium blue denim, zip pocket and pocket with a flap in a light blue denim, main part of jacket in a dark blue, elasticated bottom & zip up the middle, jacket comes to the waist.

Short Sleeve Jacket - Two panels on front and back in a light denim, hidden pockets on the front, press stud fastening, high on neck and main part of jacket in a dark blue denim jacket comes below the waist.

Above knee length wide leg ShortsPanel in the middle of shorts on front and back in a light blue denim, back pockets in the lightest blue denim, elasticated waistband, wide leg fit, main part of shorts are a medium blue.

Slim fitted Cargo Trousers - elasticated waist, three cargo pockets with flaps in light blue denim and back pockets, main part of trousers in medium blue denim.

Below the knee length shorts - Pockets placed in a patchwork style in a range of different colour denims and back pockets, elasticated waistband, below the knee length, main part of shorts in the darkest blue shown.

The pieces here represent my colour pallet, inspiration images and pieces that explore my chosen area of the environment to study the sky using mixed medias. My theme of the sky represents an area of the environment I am very interested in as I enjoy drawing and studying the sky.

Project - A Better Future - Creative pieces that Explore the Project Brief

This project was focused around the environment, so the pieces here explore different areas of it. I have used variety of methods to create artwork such as collage, pencil drawing and painting using ink. Here I have also included images of my physical sketchbook.

Project - A Better Future - Final Garment on a stand and Styled

The pieces I have placed here represent my final outcome of this project. I have presented images of my final garment placed onto a stand showing different angles of it, and images of my final garment styled similarly to how I have created my final illustration to create a clear link.

Here I have created repeat patterns from my artwork pieces onto my designs from my collection using photoshop. I explored seamless patterns throughout these pieces.

The pieces here represent my colour pallet, inspiration images and pieces that explore my chosen theme racing cars and grid women using mixed medias. My theme of racing cars and grid women bring two large industries together, fashion and cars to create designs that express both areas.

The pieces here represent my final outcomes such as my final illustrations, technical drawings and a pattern I have used in one of my designs, I have created a traditional baby doll dress inspired by the 60s, two racing suits one more traditional and another inspired by the hippie trend that began in the late 60s and a dress a grid woman would be seen wearing.

The small range of artwork pieces I have displayed here show my ability to work creatively in different styles and expressing one of my hobbies and interests. I have also placed a garment that I made using fabric that I had purchased.
