Start with a tablecloth or runner in a fresh, seasonal print – think soft coastal blues, botanical greens, or delicate florals. These instantly create a summery base and set the tone for your tablescape. Layer with sea grass placemats for texture and choose napkins in complementary tones to tie everything together.
When it comes to tableware, keep things light and relaxed. Mismatched ceramics or classic white plates pair beautifully with coloured glassware and playful serveware. Add a jug of fruitinfused water, a bowl of garden-picked strawberries, or a pitcher of a summer cocktail to brighten to look.

Refreshing, zesty, and just a touch indulgent - bursting with juicy oranges and sweet peach notes, this summer cocktail is a perfect addition to picnics, garden lunches, or laid-back weekend gatherings. Serve in a clear jug over ice, ideally on a Sophie Allport Dragonfly tray, for effortless seasonal style.
Directions
Step 1: Brew the tea bags in 1L of boiling water for 5 to 6 minutes.
Step 2: Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey. Let it cool, then keep chilled in the fridge.
Step 3: Once chilled, in a large jug mix the cold tea, orange juice, peach schnapps (or wine), and sparkling water.
Step 4: For a non-alcoholic version, skip the schnapps and add a splash more orange juice or peach cordial.
Step 5: Add the orange and peach slices with a handful of ice.
Step 6: Stir gently to combine and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
Step 7: Serve chilled in melamine beakers and enjoy under the sun.
