NOTE ADVISER'S
As the Mayor of St. Gregory the Great, I express my sincere gratitude to my classmates in giving me the chance to become a leader. I may not have been the best but as this is our last year I made sure that we can experience an unforgettable school year. This is our last time being classmates after knowing a majority since kindergarten. I am grateful for these individuals and I am always here supporting each one of them. I have learned so much and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for every single one of us. Thank you, SGG!
To my valued students, I am grateful for the opportunity that was given to me in becoming your adviser for this school year. You have all proven yourselves to be reliable and dedicated to your studies and other school responsibilities. This is appreciated by myself and other teachers as well. May God give you the strength and resilience you need to achieve the success you deserve as you embark on a new chapter in your lives.

irst entering the great doors of the kindergarten kkkas practically babies, we grew up together at St. llllllJohn's Institute. It does baffle the mind that these people we learned to write with are driving now Studying, sharing answers, partying, and feeling the elation of winning together, our batch is like family. One could say it's a dysfunctional family; There are a variety of people in the batch. Some are quiet and some are noisy Some are sunshine Some are midnight rain, some are leaders, and some are hard-headed, but it all works somehow. We've known each other even before we knew how to read, and sooner or later, we'll be parting ways at graduation. However, the days we spent practicing, making props, crying over chemistry, and doing stupid things in the classrooms are memories that will last No one can deny the fact that our batch is very competitive regarding school contests. Entering junior high school was one of the most memorable yet challenging phases of our student life From the bulletin board contests to the Intramurals, we pushed ourselves to rise above the adversities and prove not only to ourselves but also to the entire student body that our batch is one of the most anticipated batches in the past years Amid any affliction in the past and present, we are still standing. No typhoon or pandemic can stop the raging fire in every one's heart. Year by year, we set standards that motivate and inspire other batches to do their best. The contests we have experienced through the years have helped us find our own capabilities which helped the batch in many ways. It always gives us chills whenever we win a certain contest, one of which is the cheer dance competition back in 2019. Our hard work, dedication, and perseverance paid off in the end, we jumped with joy and happiness after our name was called, and until now we still defended our spot of being the champions in different kinds of contests. Even though some of our batchmates are not here anymore, we still ontinue the legacy that they left. We still prove that a united batch always stays united, even if distance will separate them. Our lives would be incomplete without experiencing parties. Parties are one of the things that surely blow our stresses away
We, as a batch, love parties; Get-togethers with friends, no classes, and good food Acquaintance parties are always fun events to mark a new school year. This encourages us to make new friends and make unforgettable memories. The whole high school is divided into different colors to make sure that everyone can interact with every grade level, backed with games that bring out our inner competitiveness and camaraderie The most awaited moment for everyone was when the fire truck hose sprayed us all with water. Everybody loved every bit of it, splashing our friends, and basking in the coldness and refreshing feeling of the water after an afternoon of activities. It was truly a sight to behold. Another party that anyone wouldn't want to miss is the annual Christmas party It celebrates the fact that exams in the second quarter have officially ended. The selection of great food at the potlucks, the thrill of exchanging gifts with our manitos and manitas, to the hilarious programs and games prepared, truly showcases the festive Christmas spirit. The unforgettable moments of seeing each other's smiles as we celebrated the season together before the break were always a thrill. Finally, the beloved batch parties help build stronger relationships with our batch mates, setting aside all the classwork, and starting to know more about each other. With these batch parties, we get to talk and hang out with other batchmates that we usually don't talk to We discover new things about each other and create more memories. These parties helped us get out of our comfort zones and learn more about the people around us In these times, we have made memories that will forever be cherished.
A term that has been repeated almost a million times, but it's one of the reasons we were once dubbed
"Teamwork makes the dream work."
"The most united batch."
But what exactly does it mean? Simply put, any challenge can be won if a team has a single purpose and collaborates to achieve it. A collaborative team performs and excels They understand their goals and how they may work together to achieve them The team-building activities we have had through the years provide a window into how we, as a batch, can work together to achieve our goals. These have allowed our batch to interact with each other to create bonds and relationships which improved our unity and teamwork as a group Our bonds were strengthened and we have learned to accept each other despite our differences. Our teamwork does not only strengthen in teambuilding activities, but also during our outreaches. A memorable program of ours was an outreach for the Holy Infant Nursery Foundation. We had prepared an outreach program for them one Christmas. Each child at the foundation was given gifts and essential food items were donated. Each person in our batch contributed to making this program a success.

Even during the pandemic, we were never divided and were still able to work together to make a child's Christmas worth remembering. As time passes by, we tend to forget the beautiful memories we made together. But little do we know, we have already built a relationship as a batch. We had our normal days, boring days, stressful days, and fun days together, but we just let those times pass and did not value them Dr Seuss once said, "Sometimes
So after recalling everything, we realize that there are so many things that are worthy to be remembered and valued These are just little things that happened to us, but these little things are what made us who we are today For the last time, let us feel grateful to one another for the experiences, lessons, and memories. So let us raise a toast for the treasured moments that will forever cement our legacy together.
you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. "

10 things you need to know to survive SHS
1.HAVEABUDDYSYSTEM
Having a buddy can surely ease the stressful Senior High School life A buddy system is a cooperative arrangement whereby individuals are paired or teamed up and assume responsibility for one another's instruction, productivity, welfare, or safety. Having a friend to guide you every step of the way can be of great help – whether it be in studying, doing activities, or simply having someone to talk to in times of trouble It's never a hassle to be a buddy to someone, so we surely recommend having one!
2.MANAGEYOURTIMEWELL
As a student, you have to learn how to manage your time well Reduce stress and maximize productivity by planning your days ahead of schedule We advise dedicating at least 2 hours a day to studying Following that, you might arrange additional activities like socializing and relaxation activities. You should keep in mind that things often take longer than you anticipate. This is why it is important to stay on track by having a planner or other platforms to keep you organized. Most students tend to leave important tasks until the last minute, which can impact the quality of their work and their overall grades That's not exactly the right mindset for a student to have Always allow for extra time in case you are unable to complete a task by the deadline
Have a goal in mind? May it be aiming for honors or being accepted to your dream school? Then, stop procrastinating! It is always important to not get distracted and ask why you had this goal in the first place Motivation is not enough, discipline yourself for getting things done right away Make sure that your goals are achievable and actionable Make your Pinterest boards come alive by simply acting upon them in simple tasks A simple task by simply doing your homework could be a simple step that leads to great success. Set yourself a deadline to get things done. It would all come to be worth it especially your visions come to reality. Trust me, your future self will thank you. Padayon!
The most fun part about going to school is being with your friends and having fun. Being with your friends and classmates is fun. But, it is essential to remember the main reason you are in school is to learn. Make sure you still put your academics first over the things that are not that important If you already are prioritizing school works, remember not to do it too much or it will lead to burnout and over-fatigue Take a break now and then to get your mind to its maximum operating efficiency So put your academics first but do not do it too much
5.TAKETIMEFORYOURSELF
Don’t overwork yourself! Balancing academics and your social life is key to surviving your last years of high school and as a teenager. But most importantly, we should make sure to not lose our sanity in the process. Give yourself a break by taking care of yourself by simply pampering, meditating, watching the latest Netflix series, or sharing your time with a loved one It’s important to remind ourselves once in a while to take care of our well-being Releasing tension and giving less pressure on ourselves to focus on what matters Practice self-love by doing things that fuel our souls to strive for the better
6.SLEEPISNOTYOURENEMY
It is often seen as students glorifying the lack of sleep by staying up all night and catching up on deadlines Sleep is your best friend Rest at the end of the day, and at the end of the week, helps us to calm down It is why we should listen to the professionals who often tell us to have the recommended hours of sleep Doing fun things that we enjoy in our leisure time compensates us for the unpleasant stress we may experience in life, bringing some balance back into our world. Having enough sleep makes us focus more and gives us the right energy to do our tasks with our best efforts.
7.MAINTAINAGOODRELATIONSHIPWITHYOURTEACHERS
Enhancing students' interactions with teachers will have significant, beneficial, and long-lasting effects on both their academic and social growth Achievement improvements won't come from merely enhancing the interactions between students and their teachers. However, those who have close, supportive ties with their instructors will perform better academically. Students should not be hesitant when it comes to seeking help from their teachers. Positive interactions between teachers and students improve the learning environment in the classroom and help with their academic, emotional, and developmental requirements
8.FOODIESAREGOODIES
Students can use food to go through senior high school Eating out, going on food trips, and occasionally eating while stressed can all help you decompress Especially sharing a meal with your barkada makes it a whole lot better Food gives us the energy to do things by making us do things better and making us much happier It gives students the energy to start their day. Dining out with friends and having a conversation while you eat can motivate you and make you feel less alone. Students frequently turn to food as a stress reliever. For instance, eating chocolates as a reward.
As students, we should never forget to eat food as it is the main source of our energy
9.ALITTLE"HAPPYCRUSH"WON'THURT
It is no secret that almost everyone had a crush on someone at some point especially when one is aged 10 and above. One might argue "senior high school ain't the right time to be in love and all" while there might be some truth to that but having what we call a "happy crush" will do no harm, on the contrary, it might do well if done correctly. Always remember that happy crushing is not about love, it’s more about a shallow attraction to a person where one does not involve one's crush but rather just feels a certain shallow way towards him/her without any strings, desire, or expectation It might be the motivation/extra push that one needs to accomplish the academic demands of senior high school.
10.HAVEFUN!
Embrace the simple things, surround yourself with positive people and energy, and most importantly, have fun Senior high school may be tiring and overwhelming since you must consider not just academics, school activities, and extracurriculars but also college applications and admissions examinations However, putting too much pressure on yourself and concentrating solely on those factors can lead to burnout and a miserable senior high experience. When things get too much to bear, let go for a while, unwind, and detach from reality. Invite your friends for a day out cafe hunting, museum dates, or singing your hearts out on the weekend Balancing academics and your social life is key to surviving your last years of high school and as a teenager Make memories for the stories to laugh at or look back on someday after we graduate

and so the adventure begins...
