Now in its eleventh year, Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for the nation to say thank you to our servicemen and women, past and
present, as they protect the British population, prevent conflict and stand ready to fight those who wish our country harm. It is also an opportunity to show gratitude to the wider Armed Forces community including cadets, veterans and service families for their commitment and sacrifice.
