Pictured at right is the ad the SOM and Medical Center placed in the December issue of the magazine. This list is excerpted from The Best Doctors in America 2007® database, which includes approximately 41,000 doctors in more than 40 medical specialties. Best Doctors believes that physicians are the most qualified to evaluate the experience and skill sets of other physicians. Best Doctors asks physicians: “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?” Physicians are included based on the result of an extensive, confidential peer-review process.
