




It’s FAIR time! That means Fair Weather, Fried Food, 4H, FFA, Friendly Frank’s - Wade Shows Carnival and lots of FUN! So let’s have some!
On behalf of the South Mississippi Fair Commission, the Jones County Board of Supervisors, and the City of Laurel, I welcome you and your family to the 103rd Edition of the South MS Fair, October 20 – 28, 2023
It always taste better at the FAIR, so grab a funnel cake or eat something fried on a stick, just come enjoy the Jones County Tradition at the South MS Fair, where you are sure to run into old friends, classmates and even family you haven’t seen in a while
The nine day family-fun-filled event will have 4h and FFA livestock shows and exhibits, all of your favorite fair foods, Wade Shows Carnival rides and games, local talent on the Pinebelt Radio Midway Stage, Grandpa Cratchet, the Pork Chop Revue, K9’s in Flight, Pirate Man Dan, the Jones County Baptist Association Kids Korner, and so much more

Each year as fall ushers in changes in weather and exciting fall activities, generations of families and friends gather in October to share memories and enjoy the rich traditions they have grown to love about the South Mississippi Fair I believe our fair is a cornerstone of Jones County and I feel blessed to be a part of such a longstanding event in our community I look forward to this special time of the year It’s like coming home

Check the weather forcast prior to entering the fair gate admission, ride tickets & armbands are NON-REFUNDABLE due to weather conditions. Wear comfortable clothing and pack a jacket or rain gear. Remember to check the weather forecast.
Hydrate & apply sunscreen on warm days! Take advantage of our picnic/rest areas and visit our exhibit halls for shade.
Don’t forget your wallet or other belongings. Upon entering the gates there is NO RE-ENTRY!

55 tickets for $55 Ride unlimited rides all day. Armband good for day of purchase only. each ride takes 3 to 6 tickets.
NO refunds will be given.
Ride armbands are NOT for children under 36 inches tall.
Check the height requirements before purchasing wristbands. Children under 48" may not be allowed on certain rides

We hope that you have felt right at home and have made many lasting memories here at the South MS Fair! Growing up I remember the Fair being such an exciting and electric time for the citizens of Jones County and surrounding areas, and I believe it still is! As time ushers in change in policy and technology, we hope that you will continue to join us for our yearly ‘hometown reunion’. We are excited for the future and all the things to come here at the South Mississippi Fair and the Magnolia Center.
