Inaugural Fewings Fellowship Long Lunch Invitation This formal lunch, which will be held in Cumbooquepa, will be one of the most significant celebrations the Foundation will host and is one which we intend to host on an annual basis to honour our bequestors.

Friday 20 August ~ 12:00 for 12:30pm Champagne & Canapés will be served in the Cumbooquepa foyer before moving to the dining room Lunch: Three course with select wines Venue: Cumbooquepa Dining Room, Cumbooquepa Dress: Smart dress for ladies, Jacket with tie for men This invitation only event is exclusively for confirmed members of the Fewings Fellowship. Husbands and partners are also invited and most welcome to attend.

Creating Futures As you may recall, Mary Somerville (whom Somerville House is named after) was a mathematician, scientist, astronomer, geographer and gifted science writer.

Each year at Somerville House we enable girls to pursue their intellectual interests, a freedom prized by Mary Somerville.

For nearly 125 years Somerville House has developed a reputation as one of Queensland’s finest schools – educating girls to be leaders in industry, the arts and community.

To fulfil our vision and deliver a world-class education for current and future students, we rely on support through various forms, one of which is a Gift in a Will.

Gifts in Wills have a significant impact on the educational opportunities offered to our young women with funds, partially or fully, supporting academic scholarships and bursaries, cultural programs and the wonderful facilities students access while at the School.
