An International Evening with Vivace Classical Choir

There is a busy time ahead for Vivace Classical Choir. They are at present rehearsing Handel’s “Messiah” for their main concerts at the beginning of April, to be performed in San Miguel de Salinas, La Siesta Church and the Iglesia del Colegio de Santo Domingo in Orihuela.. But before that, on Friday 28th March, they will be joined by a visiting choir from Denmark – The Lyngby Kammerchor (pictured). Vivace is already a truly international choir, with singers from many European countries, and the music chosen for this combined concert will reflect an international theme. Vivace members

Tomas and Tove Andgren, who live in Denmark for part of the year, have invited this chamber choir to join with Vivace for this special event. The concert will comprise items sung by each choir, and finish with a combined item, “The Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah, conducted by Vivace’s Musical Director Tom Pargeter. This concert will take place in the Casa de Cultura, San Miguel de Salinas, on Friday 28th March at 8.00. or more details call 96 572 0919. Entry to the concert is free.
