The Crisis We Must Solve

"A nation’s future depends on the strength of its schools — yet too many are crumbling away."

Hostels are collapsing.

Many school hostels are now run-down and unsafe for children’s health.

School infrastructure is falling apart.

Old school buildings, broken toilets, and overcrowding hurt learning and safety — but with the right support, schools can become hubs for the whole community to grow and thrive.

Rural learners are being left behind.

If we don’t act soon, the gap gets worse — and the people who need help the most are left behind.

"There is an urgent need for the renovation and expansion of the Suiderlig Secondary School hostel to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment."

//Kharas Regional Council Directorate of Education, 9 April 2025

The Road Ahead

Sirimba starts in Ovitoto and grows across Africa to bring better schools, power, and jobs.

2027 – Ovitoto Pilot Launch

Build the first Sirimba school, powered by solar energy. It will help 2,000 children and support the whole community.

2030–2040 – Expansion to 14 Regions of Namibia

Take the Sirimba Model to every region in Namibia. Each one will be adapted to local needs but still use the same solar-powered, self-sustaining setup.

Post-2040 – Pan-African Model Export

Share the Sirimba Model with other African countries. This puts Namibia on the map as a leader in smart schools powered by clean energy.
