HOME MULTIFAMILY The project focuses on the creation of multi-family horizontal housing in the city of Quito, where the principle was to generate housing spaces where the main search was visual thanks to the landscape, in the same way it was intended to deliver houses that were different from each other in its interior but that form the same facade.

Certainly the project is born from a mesh that allowed to generate the spaces and according to an architectural program, 4 types of housing were made that were coupled to each other like puzzle pieces.

The unification of these houses and thanks to the urban development of the complex with different areas for recreation, contemplation, and interaction with the sector, has resulted in a mixed housing complex that responds to the needs of users.

LIBRARY NATIONAL The project is located in the Quitumbe sector, south of Quito, which presents major urban problems, such as social segregation, inactive mobility for pedestrians, no security, among others.

The design of the National Library tries to manage and solve these problems with a plan that allows finding spaces to innovate new urban models of development.

Starting from green areas, then to a public area and concluding with the operation of a national library, which responds to a social need in the sector and which accompanies the Quito Metropolitan Corridor proposal.

Concluding in a project that seeks to integrate all types of users, thus being a power at the urban and architectural level since it presents activities of social interest.

3.-PROPOSAL OF ECOLOGICAL STEP We finally have the National Library project and the different activities generated inside and outside the building

2.-VEGETATION According to the green areas, they are carried out with the help of a green corridor that allows a connection of spaces.

The vegetation is native to Quito, and they are randomly located in order to have different visual and olfactory sensations throughout the project.

1.- PROPOSAL A mesh is generated on the ground that will allow a better zoning and that will be necessary in the structure of the building, in the same way a connection between avenues will be sought for a better interaction The national library is zoned from public, semi-public and private spaces

REHABILITATION ROYAL MILLS The main objective of this draft architectural design framed in the intervention levels of rehabilitation and new construction.

The old Royal Mills located in the Chimbacalle sector, which is part of the Quito Metropolitan Corridor, are taken as a case study.

The general vision has been a hotel that allows an integration between habitability and communal spaces, with the help of interventions in built spaces, it proposes to generate public, semi-public and private places, places where both hotel residents and external people from the sector will connect. .

Likewise, the green and exterior areas seek to be a meeting point with the sector without generating social segregation or walling, instead of turning their backs, they embrace the place and propose a better integration.

MIXED BUILDING MULTIPURPOSE SPACES The purpose of this project is to respond to these needs, prior to an urban architectural analysis, but at the same time, physical, social and environmental with a focus on generating multifunctional spaces, which respond to developing different activities and interactions between those who lie there generating thus a flexible design.

The housing blueprint thus responds to the generation of a residential building with a high-rise neighborhood approach as part of a residential and equipment complex, thus contributing to improving the conditions of habitability that arose during the confinement of COVID-19 in this type of buildings, it is for them that communal meeting spaces are proposed in this building with a connection between the individual and the outside, within the building that allows social interaction. Based on new and innovative architectural approaches that are linked to public space and support a proposal for mixed housing architecture, which on the one hand generate benefits for users, but on the other, potentiate the sector, in this sense, the plan, program and project proposes the implementation of activities such as workshops, exhibitions, seminars, meetings, among others, that will be complemented by the equipment that makes up the housing complex.
