Part of our politicization process included learning about agroecology. What we feel is especially unique to our practice of agroecology is our urban context; and therefore, it is critical to define what agroecology means for us as Black and Brown farmers in urban spaces. And as the practice of agroecology values farmer-to-farmer knowledge, we are passing this along to our community of growers and land liberators.
